EIT Urban Mobility invites you to the ChargeUp 2.0 Summer School in Šibenik!

After a very successful launch in 2025, the ChargeUp 2.0 Summer School continues the initiative, organised by REGEA and ERKON in 2026 and 2027. What's it about?

The ChargeUp 2.0 international Summer School program is designed for students interested in developing innovative solutions in the field of energy-efficient urban mobility, as well as strengthening communication and management skills.

The program consists of introductory online activities and hands-on practical training in Šibenik, taking place from 18 to 24 July 2026 . The goal is to develop innovative solutions that address modern challenges in energy and mobility, whether technical, social, economic, or environmental. All program activities will be held in English, with students working in international teams of four.

Teams will present their solutions to the Selection Committee and the public on the last day of the Summer School, with awards for the winning teams.

Who can apply?

Applications are open for students who meet all the following requirements:

• Younger than 30
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or an integrated study program
• Completed at least the second year of their Bachelor’s (or integrated) studies
• They are a resident of one of the following countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Israel, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, or Ukraine
• They are proficient in English (minimum B2 level according to the CEFR or equivalent)

How and when can you apply?

Applying to the ChargeUp 2.0 Summer School is quick and easy.

The application form can be accessed on the website: https://chargeup.regea.org/. In the first round, applicants are required to fill in basic information about themselves and write a short motivational letter in English. That’s all! The applicants who are chosen will be contacted and welcomed to the second round.

Applications must be submitted by 23 April 2026 (by 23:59 CET).

Participation Costs

For those selected, the school covers the cost of travel, accommodation, three meals a day, and all working materials.
