Please note that there's another class at 15.00, so you need to make sure that you will have finished by 14.50 at the latest.

Dear students,

in addition to our regular classes, the following makeup classes will take place next week for the classes that have been missed so far. 

Also, please note that the Week 7 assignment for all Schools will be conducted during our regular classes the week after next (7/4-11/4). Since this will be the last week before the Easter break, I understand that some of you may travel before Friday 11/4. 

If that's the case, you may join the regular classes of other Schools (Naval, Monday: 13.00, Room Δ209, Chemical, Monday: 17.00, Room 28 and Mechanical, Tuesday: 10.00, Room Z206).

If you choose to do so, please email me beforehand.

Dear students,

to prepare for your academic presentations, which will take place in the last two weeks of the semester, you need to start thinking about your topics and team members.

As explained in class, the topic should be related to engineering, but it does not need to be overly technical. Your team can consist of up to 4 students and each member will present their part of the topic for 7-8 minutes.

You can find further details and guidelines for your presentation on Helios (Presentation_Guidelines.pdf).

The deadline for submitting your topic and team members is 5 May 2025. You will find the link to an Excel file where you can add your topic and team members in the document above.

Please note that the presentation is only for those students who have opted for one of the following two examination methods:

In-class work+week 7 assignment+presentation: 100% Week 7 assignment+presentation: 30%

I'd like to inform you that ECE students can complete the week 3 assignment either on Monday 10.03.25 from 18.30 onwards in Room 28, School of Chemical Engineering or they can complete both the week 3 and week 4 assignments next Friday 14.03.25.

this is to inform those of you who would like to join my other classes, instead of Monday's class, of the times and location for those classes:

Monday: 12.45-14.30: School of Naval Architecture, Δ, 209

Tuesday: 10.00-11.45: School of Mechanical Engineering, Z, 206.

Friday: 12-45-14.30: School of Electrical and computer engineering, Room 001.

Please note that Monday's class will still take place at 17.15 as usual. However, if it's more convenient to join one of the above classes instead, that's absolutely fine. You're also welcome to switch classes occasionally and not on a weekly basis.
