Mr. Zotiadis is a Chemical Engineer and PhD candidate at National and Technical University of Athens (NTUA).  His PhD thesis focuses on in situ polymerization and fabrication of microcapsules to be used in self-healing applications. He first completed his diploma thesis on "Hydrolytic degradation of stabilized poly(lactic acid) for long term applications" at the Laboratory of Polymer Science and Technology in Chemical Engineering Department of NTUA. The results of this thesis have been published in an international scientific journal and presented at a scientific conference. During his internship he has worked for L’Oreal, organizing the company’s autonomous waste recycling system.
