Meeting News

The meeting venue is Vouliagmeni; a beautiful and picturesque peninsula, situated on the eastern edge of Athens (just 20 Km from the center of Athens), known from the famous lake with the mineral water spa and an outstanding mild climate that makes all-year round holidays possible.

The meeting will be hosted in Amarilia Hotel, a nice and friendly hotel only steps away from the sandy beach. Special rates have been ensured for the accommodation of the participants.

By public transportation
Take the X96 bus To PEIRAIAS (To Pireaus) and get off at stop PIGADAKIA (duration ~ 30 minutes).

When you get off at bus stop PIGADAKIA (on Leoforos Varis) head towards the traffic lights (Leoforos Athinas); cross the traffic lights and turn to the left. Find the bus stop (PIGADAKIA) and take one of the following buses: 114, 115 or 170 To VOYLIAGMENI. You get off at bus stop AG.NIKOLAOS (Ayios Nikolaos).
Alternatively, when you get off from the airport bus (X96) at stop PIGADAKIA you can walk to the hotel (it takes approximately 10 minutes). Head to Leoforos Athinas (see the map above) and cross the traffic lights. Turn left and continue walking down Leoforos Athinas until you meet Ag. Nikolaou Street where Amarilia Hotel is located.
By taxi (suggested)
There is a 24-hour taxi service at the Arrival's Terminal in Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos". Taxis are available at the designated area located at Exit 3 of Arrivals level. The trip to Amarilia Hotel takes ~ 20 minutes. The cost is 20-25 Euros with Tariff 1 (05:00 am - 00:00) and 25-30 Euros with Tariff 2 (00:01 - 04:59 am).

By public transportation
Take the 149 bus (GLYFADA-VARI-VARKIZA (KYKLIKI)) from the bus stop AG. NIKOLAOS; it runs every 50 minutes. Get off at stop PIGADAKIA and head to the north to the traffic lights. Turn right and continue walking until you meet the bus stop PIGADAKIA. Take the X96 bus To AIRPORT (it runs every 20-25 minutes).

Alternatively, you can walk to the airport bus station PIGADAKIA on Varis-Varkizas Avenue (it takes approximately 10 minutes).

Take the E22 bus To SARONIDA from PL. SYNTAGMATOS bus stop at Syntagma Square. The bus runs every 15-20 minutes on weekdays and every 35-40 minutes on weekends. Get off at stop Ag. Nikolaos (duration approximately 1 hour).

By taxi
There is a 24-hour taxi service at Syntagma Square. The trip to Amarilia Hotel takes approximately 30 minutes with a cost of ~15 Euros with Tariff 1 (05:00 am- 00:00) or ~25 Euros with Tariff 2 (00:01-04:59 am).

By public transportation
Take the E22 bus To AKADHMIA (To Athens) from the bus stop AG. NIKOLAOS The bus runs every 15-20 minutes on weekdays and every 35-40 minutes on weekends. Get off at stop PL. SYNTAGMATOS (duration approximately 1 hour).
