SUMMER SCHOOL IN COMPUTATIONAL FLUIS DYNAMICS

Computational Fluid Dynamics Unit (CFDU) of the School of Chemical Engineering organizes a short summer school in Computational Fluid Dynamics at National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), from 20 to 24 July, 2009.

Professor Phillip L. Roe (University of Michigan) is the main speaker of the summer school. Professor Roe will give a series of Introductory lectures on Computational Fluid Dynamics, which will be accompanied be a series of laboratory computational exercises.

All lectures will be given in English.

Summer School Program

The summer school is mainly addressed to graduate and undergraduate students in Chemical, Civil, Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering, and related areas, but also to researchers working at universities, research centers and industry.

The registration fee for the summer school is 300€ for students and 400€ for industry and research centers. Applications for financial support, in the form of partial or total exemption from the registration fee, are being accepted.

The number of participants in the summer school will be limited. Applications should be include:
